NCSOFT R&D center

NCsoft built its own R&D center building at Teheran-ro (Tehran Street), Seoul, lately.
the company staffers have dispersed at four buildings along Teheran-ro. but now they can get together this new building.

* location : Samseong-dong, Gangnam area, Seoul.
* floor : -7~15 (totally 22 floor)
* architect : Park Seung-,. (he designed \'National Museum of Korea\' at Yongsan, Seoul)

* feature, : No one can see how tall or what story building it is from outdoor, on the street. because the building got specific facade,
They intend a facade screening out direct ray of light, considering the R&D functional purpose.


 

National Museum of Korea

* location : Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
* height : -1~6 floor
* land size : 49,117.38m²
* design : Kim Jeong Cheol + Park Seung (Junglim Architects)

this completed at 2004. so it\'s already a little bit old for this thread. and personally i dislike this flat type of building. but for its several remarkable featrues, I feel this is indispensable for this thread.























Boutique Monaco

* location : near Gangnam subway station, and across Teheran-ro from \'Samsung Town\' office buldings.
* height : -5~27 floor. 105,6 m
* this building will be completed at this month or the next.

It gets something special besides the design. Above all, it is the heighest - price officetel in korea. so quite remarkable. Originally, Officetel means office + residence (mixed use or optional use) but actually, this building seems to be residence-prior one.
Someone says this one is for VVIP marketing. (\'Very Very Important Person\') All rooms were sold quickly in spite of the price.
